Thanks for that James. The only sensible thing for me to do is wait until I get Telcanto running. Goodness knows, I've got enough to keep myself busy for at least a month ripping and FLAC-ing my collection. Thanks to this forum I'm now very comfortable with how to do the cover art, and Cover Art Downloader makes it dead easy to go and add the cover art after the collection has been ripped so I think I'm all sorted now.
On reflection 256x256 is probably stupid since the Dell Axim screen is only 240 pixels wide. CAD only allows certain sizing options so the next one down is 128x128 but, judging from the screenshots of Telcanto, that would probably be just about the optimum size. I really do need to try it for real though because who knows, Telcanto might resize the image itself for the optimum size.
