Very true. Also, using any player in a car ( a very noisy environment) kills any reason to be wacko about compressed sound quality. Back in the olden days, WMA had better quality at lower bitrates than MP3. I believe more recent MP3 and MP3pro have caught up. I'd expect ACC to also be better quality/compression ratio than olden MP3. For a while, OggVorbis was a hot format. It is lossy, like MP3, but open source like FLAC. I haven't hear much about it.
