I was able to get Robin's program up and running on windows with relatively little trouble. A couple points for people who aren't programmers:
When you type in the paths for flac.exe and lame.exe, be sure to use two slashes, e.g.: c:\\lame\\lame.exe Also, if you're going to use the latest version of lame (3.97b1) then you probably want to change "--preset standard" to take advantage of the new VBR options. I used V4 and it sounds great without filling up my iPod. The whole thing took about 25 hours to run on 4500 files, some of which were quite large. -- Mike Anderson 'FREE RADICAL RADIO!'
