WHAT? No.  If you are going to the trouble to rip ALL of your music and
to FLAC no less. Use secure mode, sure if all your CDs are in good shape
it may be overkill, however if you want to only do this once and know
all you music is in good shape with no pops or clicks then use secure
mode.

Is the speed difference really worth it?  My collection was ~300 CD
deep when I ripped it.  I just dropped a CD in it when I was near it,
usually ripped about 5 CDs a day.  Took a couple of months.
