Does anyone have any experience with Slimserver transcoding MAC files to FLAC? I have most of my files in FLAC, but a good number of albums that were previously ripped using Monkey's Audio. Since FLAC can be natively decoded by the SB3, it is more efficient to have the Slimserver transcode the MAC files to FLAC and stream FLAC, than it is converting to wav and streaming uncompressed the wav files.
The problem is that if I set the Slimserver to send the MAC files as FLAC, the SB doesn't seem able to convert anything as I don't get any sound.
