I've made some more progress on this - I'm pretty sure i'm not getting
gapless due to the resultant flac files being 48Khz vs 44.1Khz
(obviously due to the source material). I've also noticed that a
regular 2 channel 48Khz live recording that I have, does not playback
gapless either so I've created a new bug (#2990) at
bugs.slimdevices.com. Not sure what it would take to fix this but I
assume it's a firmware change, hopefully a quick/easy/small one as
44.1khz files play ok.
I'd love it if you could vote for this bug if you are also affected by
this problem.
I'm mostly ripping 5.1 tracks from live music dvd's and it would make
the squeezebox2 playback these rips even better than it does now......
