I've made some more progress on this - I'm pretty sure i'm not getting gapless due to the resultant flac files being 48Khz vs 44.1Khz (obviously due to the source material). I've also noticed that a regular 2 channel 48Khz live recording that I have, does not playback gapless either so I've created a new bug (#2990) at bugs.slimdevices.com. Not sure what it would take to fix this but I assume it's a firmware change, hopefully a quick/easy/small one as 44.1khz files play ok. I'd love it if you could vote for this bug if you are also affected by this problem.
