no prob.  83dB is a better reference, but I think Frank Klemm was
one of the early implementers (for MPC) and I think he changed it
first to 89dB, probably to reflect the current state of overly-
loud mastering.  I use Frank's version in the FLAC code and I think
almost every other implementation has followed along.  that's why
there's a difference between David's original replaygain spec and
the one on hydrogenaudio.

the ideal solution is to store the reference used in the tags too
and that's what I plan to add to flac/metaflac.
