The more I think about it, the more I want to put in as much information as I can find about each disc. I know it can't be browsed by all the various tags at the moment, but it will allow for future developments not requiring a complete retagging of my music.
My only issue comes with the PERFORMER tag. In the example in my first post, a sample performer would be like this: PERFORMER=Doug Johnson (Alto Saxophone) Now this creates a problem... unless there is a standard way to parse that to get both the performer name and the instrument separately, any application will treat Doug Johnson (Alto Saxophone) differently than, say, Doug Johnson (Flute). Another issue comes with the usage of the ARTIST, BAND, ENSEMBLE, and to an extent the performer tag.
