I just recently got an SB3, but already had most of my music FLAC'ed and properly tags. For multiple discs, I basically follow the same rules (increasing track numbers across all discs, same album name). I put the disc # in the comments tag, just for my own info.
This is working fine without the TPOS / DISCNUMBER tags. I also just checked the "group discs" setting and I have that on "treat as multiple." When I say "working fine", it means that the multiple discs are treated like a single album. Of course, it should -- for all intents and purposes it is a single album. So my question is, what advantage does setting the disc # in the TPOS / DISCNUMBER tag actually have? Is the SB really using this? -- Robert W.
