Yep. Ripping from cassette :-O

Been asked by a friend to transfer his last remaning copies of his own
music (he used to be in a band called Swineherd) onto CD for him. I've
actually got quite a decent soundcard, and my cassette deck is halfway
decent. The recording onto my PC should be reasonably good quality,
before it then goes onto CD.

I'm assuming, though, that I'm going to rip each side of a cassette as
a single/continuous WAV.

Anyone got any suggestions for easy to use editors that I can use to
split the WAVs into individual tracks before burning them back to CD?
Got to be easy to use, and the freer the better :) I know you get what
you pay for though, so happy to fork out for some half decent software
if there is a particular product which comes with good recommendations.
