I have noticed during this conversion that a very minor number of tracks show "Error while decoding data State = FLAC__STREAM_DECORDER_END_OF_STREAM". What does this mean to the quality of the conversion for these few tracks? Regarding the '--preset standard' default, the hydrogenaudio wiki in the table near the bottom says that this default is equivalent to '-V 2' and '--preset fast standard' is equivalent to '-v 2 --vbr-new'. So does '--preset standard' also use vbr?
