I must be the exception then. Slimserver (using the fishbone skin) displays all my album art when browsing under "music folder". I know all my album folders don't have the cover art and of the ones that do, some aren't labeled as "folder.jpg" or "cover.jpg", but by the albums name (ex: Fragile.jpg for Yes' fragile album).
