Well, I am just completely retarded then. I forgot that these songs
were ripped with iTunes from actual CD's. Do I have any options besides
converting them to mp3? Can I remove the DRM in Linux (I know you can in
Windows)?

Also, just for info, I'm on an x86, using Rhythmbox, Slimserver 6.5.4,
and Mplayer 2:1.0.
