If there was just a single piece of advice I could give to anyone beginning to rip their CD collection it would be: Figure out exactly what you want to end up with before you begin ripping the collection. Which file format, which tags, how you want your cover artwork. Then rip, encode and tag just one CD, going through the entire process as many times as necessary to get it exactly the way you like. And THEN rip the rest of your collection. Some things, such as downloading new artwork, or retagging many files can often be fairly easily to redo. Some things can't. It really sucks to lose 100's of hours of work, so do your homework first. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40080 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
