IMHO mp3tag caters to and scales easily for all levels of user from
novice to power users wanting to make use of regular expressions. I
originally started with ID3-TagIT which I found to be very good also
(no longer actively developed), albeit not quite as powerful as mp3tag
and also not able to handle FLAC, which is what caused me to switch.
On the way to discovering mp3tag I tried just about every solution that
Google threw at me and I find no need to look any further at this stage.
My only regret is that their isn't a native Linux version.
