Most of my tags are done with WMP11. On my albums with various artists I have various artists in the album artist tag and the artist for each track in the artist tag. For example I have 50+ 70's R&B tracks ripped from various CDs in an album called 70's soul, I changed the original tags so they would be grouped together. This has worked great up until now (with either itunes or wmp). Is the album artist tag that you mention the same as the one in WMP11? It seems that they might not be. At this point I'm willing to try anything to any suggestions are welcome.
