BTW, if you've got a lot of APE (or other lossless files) to convert to FLAC, the DBPoweramp converter makes it easy (just tell the batch converter where they are and which kind of files to select for conversion). Effectively the same thing as foobar2k - but it has basically no learning curve. Install app, go to dbPoweramp's "codec central" and d/l the codecs you need. Click install on each (actually FLAC and APE are probably both pre-installed - I can't remember), go back to the app and just pick the batch converter.
I had a number of albums ripped in APE, and it literally took me about a half hour from first download to getting everything queued up. Lots longer to do the conversion, of course. -- bobkoure ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bobkoure's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14646 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55275 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
