Hi all I have ripped all my cd's to flac using ripstation micro. I am very happy with this as a ripping tool as it is so simple even my girlfriend uses it.
However I only ripped to flac originally, thinking that I could transcode to mp3 for portable use sometime later. If only I had ripped to both flac and mp3 simultaneously (a feature ripstation supports) originally!!! So I now would like to transcode a substantial number of files. Have tried the usual suspects (mediamonkey, dbpoweramp) and found them wanting... I really want to transcode the individual albums, which are stored in individual folders, preferably using a batch tool and preferably retaining the same folder structure. The aim is to have a seperate database of mp3 albums which mirrors the flac database I already have. This will be used for loading an mp3 player. Does anyone know if ther is a tool out there that can achieve this?
