Hi All

As I might be taking the plunge and buying an iPhone (away from Windows
Mobile) next year, for maximum "openness" this means I'll either need to
(a) convert my 600+ albums currently in WMA to MP3, or (b) rerip them
all again. Currently they're stored at 96K which IMO sounds better
than MP3 at 128K so I'd be ripping up to 192K (best quality vs space
compromise).

Problem is, given that WMA is a lossy format will there be a noticeable
degradation in sound quality from WMA to MP3 or will I have to rerip my
collection again?! Are some converters better than others for
retaining quality? If so can anyone recommend any?

Cheers
Si

(Happy Duet Owner)
