Just in case you want to consider reencoding the flac files, have a look at this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34835 Flac can reencode files without losing any metadata and also leaving the modification timestamp as is. Since flac is lossless you will not lose any quality of the recording.
