I know there are a lot of people who completely agree with you, but I hope you know there are also a lot who aren't so fussy about it. My comment was, if given the choice between an imperfect rip of a track or two versus not having that track or two at all, many people, including me, would be very happy having an imperfect rip. It isn't something to lose sleep about for me. I understand others, including you, feel differently. I was just trying to offer an alternative.
