I use an Itunes folder and and a flac folder structure on an external harddrive. Then I just create a directory called slimmusic that has shortcuts to both folders. Works great. The Itunes is all mp3, I don't even use Itunes much anymore but the name stays for some dumb reason and the flac folder is everything I rip. Most of my new stuff comes from Amazon instead of Itunes now. But the system works well.
