>You've transcoded MP3 to FLAC? If so, that's a pretty pointless exercise. Hell No! Just sorted out the entire mp3 collection by removing the ID3v1 tags and other rubbish and renaming the files. It would be pointless to convert mp3 to FLAC (but then again, if you like the noise it creates...) One more question, if I have APE files, do I convert them to WAV and then FLAC or just use the foobar method and do them at once? Also, point me to the place where I can embed the cue sheet into FLAC, so far have no success in doing it. (Can either be in Linux or Windows). Thanks for the info so far. I agree that a single FLAC with embeded cue would be best.
