Fidelity isn't applicable to FLAC settings - every setting is lossless. What you have instead is a compression level. 0 is no compression, 8 is maximum. Again, no sound data is lost, it's all lossless, but a file compressed at 8 will be a lot smaller than one compressed at 0. The tradeoff is how long it takes, at 8 it takes more time.
Your syntax has selected 6 since you have "-6 -V -T" etc. See http://flac.sourceforge.net/documentation_tools_flac.html -- Mark Lanctot Current: SB2, Transporter, Boom (PQP3 - late beta), SBC (early beta) Stored: Boom (PQP1 - early beta) Sold: SB3, Duet ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mark Lanctot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2071 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60517 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
