I've just ripped a CD to FLAC with each track having an ARTIST tag of
'Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman & Howe'.

Running the SC 'Look for new and changed music', the album is listed
under 'Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe' so didn't pick up the album art,
a correctly named JPEG based on '%ARTIST - ALBUM'. On investigation, I
have an old MP3 album where the artist tag is set, incorrectly, to
'Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe'. I tried a complete rescan with the
same artist result for the new album.

Using metaflac on the files, the artist -is- set correctly to
'Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman & Howe' so why, oh why is SC ignoring it
and picking a vague match that already exists in the database? I can't
imagine it is by design, catering for the 'taggingly challenged'.

On further investigation I see that it has done the same for FLAC files
with an ARTIST tag of 'boyzone' (ask the wife!) where a previous
database entry for an old MP3 had 'Boyzone' so the FLACs are listed
under 'Boyzone' and therefore no album art which again is correctly
named.

Bug?

SC 7.3.2 under RHEL. FLAC files created with the SC version of flac.
