I started using iTunes a few weeks ago to load MP3s onto my iPods. My MP3 library is transcoded from my main FLAC library that I use with Squeezebox.
At the time I set up iTunes, I pointed it at my MP3 library, let it import everything, and it works well. But since then I've added albums, changed a lot of the MP3 tags, and I've also embedded cover art into most of the MP3 files. But iTunes hasn't picked up all of the changes. How do you force iTunes to just reimport everything? BTW, another question: iTunes didn't appear to recognize 'cover.jpg' files in the same folder as the MP3s. This is why I embedded all of the covers in the files, which I generally don't like doing. Is there some way to get iTunes to use separate image files?
