I don't think that's enough data to go on. Wireless problems can vary wildly from day to day and hour to hour. And the problems may not have so much to do with signal strength as interference from other sources. > The Cds that we own that i want to rip. There's the one _very_ important point that you're overlooking: SqueezeCenter can easily transcode from a lossless format to a less-bandwidth intensive lossy one. So, if you continue to have streaming problems and breakups when streaming FLAC, you can transcode it to MP3 simply changing the player settings. > Does what programme I use to rip make a difference to the quality, > regardless of using the same format? Mostly when it comes to damaged or scratched CDs. Use a secure ripper to get the best results. -- JJZolx Jim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65011 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
