Agreed. That's where I got most of mine from. Most images on
albumartexchange.com are at 600x600 resolution, and there are some
higher than that.

The next best source is http://www.lala.com/. Most images there are at
550x550.

After that, the next best source that I have found is using
http://www.maniadb.com/. Forget the Japanese characters - just enter a
search term. Apart from its own artwork, the search also does a scrape
of allcdcovers.com

As a last resort, I scan in the covers myself and tidy the image with
an image editor.

Personally, I have not found the automated tools be to very good. I
have almost all of my collection now ripped (apart from the classical
music) so I've already been through the pain, but I ended up adding
artwork 'by hand'. After downloading the image, I use IrfanView to view,
resize the image to 500x500, and save as folder.jpg. I also use an image
editor to crop images and to do editing if necessary. I have
standardised on 500x500x72 as my preferred image size.

I can also recommend Album Catalog Creator (ACC) as an excellent tool
for listing your album collection. It also makes any missing artwork
very easy to find! Download it from http://acc.vanholt.nl/

Hope this helps
