Hi I'm trying to do a one-off conversion of all my m4a tracks to mp3.
I'm running the conversion on my Linkstation Live using: faad -w -f 2 "01 Up On The Hill.m4a" | lame --resample 44100 -h -b 192 -r - "01 Up On The Hill Lame 2.mp3" It's taking about 3 hours per track!! I've tried various combination of switches but no improvement. If I run the faad part on its own, it takes about 20secs so its the lame part that's taking the time. lame version is 3.98.2 (installed as an ipkg package). This conversion used to work on the fly with squeezecenter 7.3.2, but because I can't get this working with 7.3.3 I decided to do a one-off conversion to disk. What am I doing wrong?
