its strange because if I do either command separately, they both work,
so

faad -f 1 test.m4a

produces test.wav

and

lame -b 192 test.wav test.mp3

produces test.mp3 (40 minutes later!)

Its when they are piped together I get the error:

r...@linkstation:/# faad -w -f 1 test.m4a | lame -b 192 - test.mp3
