I'm trying to convert the FLAC files on the Beatles Stereo USB from FLAC to Apple Lossless on a iMac running Snow Leopard.
I have used both Max and XLD. The files produced sound fine played in iTunes, but when sent to a SlimDevices Receiver no sound is produced, even though on the Controller the track appears to be playing. I'm wondering if this is a Slim Server issue with 24 bit / 44.1KHz Apple Lossless files as it is strange that neither Max nor XLD produce files that the Server likes. Anyone else seen this behaviour? Any suggestions for how to convert the files o work with Slim Server?
