I use dynamic: first set the folder to what you want the top level folder to be. Then use this string in the dynamic naming. This will keep the same path other than the first folder. test first of course.
[TRIMFIRSTFOLDER][origpath]\[origfilename][] For example, I have: X:/MUSIC/FLAC/artist/album/tracks When I convert to mp3 for use on portables with the string above I set the folder to be X:/MUSIC/MP3 So the dynamic naming string will produce a mirror library stored as: X:/MUSIC/MP3/artist/album/tracks. The nice thing about the "origpath" approach is that it picks up the path directory structure no matter what it is (some of mine are FLAC/ARTIST/ALBUM/DISC1/tracks and some are FLAC/COMPILATIONS/ALBUM/Tracks. Bottom line is that the directory structure is picked up EXCEPT FOR the top level. Again, play around with this first and you should be able to get exactly what you want. -- garym ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76410 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
