Windows (as of XP I think) can mount volumes as folders.

I still think it's funny when windows trys to catch up with *NIX. 
There was an article a while back about how cool it was that windows
(server 2003 maybe?) could "Dynamically change the ammount of cpu time
a process would get".  I sent the author of the article a copy of the
"renice" man page.
