I have just noticed a strange problem. I sometimes have multiple "albums" with the same title, for example "The Lark Ascending." That is, I have four or five versions of this piece, so the composer is the same but the performers are different. Each is tagged as an album with the same title, although the Album Artist is different. (The Album Artist tag lists the composer and the performers, separated by a separator character.)
The strange thing is that these albums are treated as a single album. There is only one entry for all of them in any album list, and if I select to "add" that album, all of them get added. Why isn't having different album artists enough to distinguish these as separate albums? The problem only affects FLAC files. I do not have this problem with WMA files. The albums are stored in separate locations. The Group Discs option is set to "Treat multi-disc sets as multiple albums." Is there a way to fix this without inventing a unique album title for each version of the piece? -- dpotts ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dpotts's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=29782 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80886 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
