Don't know. I don't use EAC (I use dbpa). I wouldn't use any guide that I didn't see recommended in a thread at hydrogenaud.io forums if it were me (they quickly report faulty info in such guides). But given your beginner status, you will likely be *much^ better off with dbpoweramp unless the $40 is too hard on your budget. Also, note that dbpoweramp has very good metadata retrieval (it uses several online sources, does a comparison, and tries to give you the "best" most correct metadata. It also uses a very good album art search engine to automatically add good album art to your rips (or even lets you search just before the rip to choose which art you want). I almost always get good 1000x1000 artwork. *Location 1:* VortexBox 4TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Location 2:* VBA 3TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win7(64) > LMS 7.8 > Squeezelite *Spares:* several Touch, Radio, SB3 *Controllers:* iPhone4S & iPad2 (iPeng7 & Squeezepad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win7(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpoweramp > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102237 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
