The *.wal files can grow temporarily during scanning, but as long as you
are sure you have 327 GB free and there isn't any disk quota set for the
current user that can limit it I agree that it feels unlikely that you
are running out of disk space. I'm just confused by the "database or
disk is full" message you got in the log, this kind of indicates that
the disk is full or the database has become too large.
I wonder if it might be som limitation in the QNAP LMS distribution
that's causing your problems ?
If you haven't figured out how to enable "info" level logging already
you can do this by going to "LMS Settings/Advanced/Logging" in LMS web
interface and change the log level to "info" for the "plugin.customscan"
log point. The log entries will end up in the standard server.log file
produced by LMS, you can find its location through LMS
Settings/Advanced/Logging.
