My favorit is NX. You can use a VNC "like" shared desktop or connect to an extra session, with a bigger screen resolution than on the host. Thats much faster, too.! I use the shared mode to see, if everything is running fine or add some carts to rdairplay, and the other mode to make some maintenance...
