Hi Tim, Look for errors in your /var/log/mysqld.log (or equivalent), and also your syslog for disk access errors. Last time I had this issue, I lost two years of Rivendell database (after having discovered, too late, that the automatic backups when upgrading had not been working at all during that specific period... sigh) because of a corrupted MySQL index on a faulty hard drive.
