One, tell them it is cheap if not free(Teens love free stuff). And since many teens are use to window like environments, mention stuff about Afterstep, KDE, GNOME, Windowmaker, etc. The gaming one, which you mentioned, should be what gets them though.

Subject: [RLUG] Linux for teens

I'm starting to work on a presentation about Linux for my advanced students, and I need a few suggestions.  I'm trying to come up with a list of selling points for teenagers to switch from Windows to a Linux platform... tell me what you think or offer any other suggestions.  So far I have:

1.  Open Source Philosophy

2.  Economics

3.  Gaming with WineX ?

4.  Superiority in graphics, audio, programming?

5.  Maybe offer a RHCA class in the future?

Any suggestions you have will help immensely.  Thanks!
