Does anybody know of a guide to mdadm? I'm still up in the air about the software RAID. I think it is fair to say that it is more complicated than hardware RAID.
When I pull my second drive out the SATA channel, I've yet to be able to keep running with any stability. I am forced to reboot. There is a command to mark the device as down, but that seems to defeat the whole purpose.
