Folks-

This is a theory, but I believe it is valid.  I'd need more time to verify it, 
but thought I would tell about it before I leave for the day.

Actually, most usb controller chips only handle 4 usb ports.  So, either you 
have a second chip (and need a second driver & address), or you have an odd 
controller chip that is not supported by the driver.
