Dennis,
Do the people organising this event need any manpower in helping to do the
actual build and installations?? I have no extras ..... (Maybe a *Might be
working* Live! card) but I'd be happy to help if they wanted any.

Was broadcasting this to the list *really* necessary?
Mr. Mitchell,
Was it absolutely necessary? maybe not... Did I absolutely for sure want
get the message to Josh, just in case there was a communication problem?
Why yes, yes I did.
As I'm trying to coordinate this for Josh and two other people - I wanted
to know what the status is
and I'm doing this in between appointments,
during the middle of tax season
and offering to temporarily store the equipment.
So... lighten up,
As a reminder to the whole list, a local section of the Lion's Club is
gathering functioning,
used computer equipment, loading it with Puppy Linux and giving the units
to local youngsters
in need.
The idea was, since this involves
A. Linux
B. The Reno metro area
Perhaps having the RENO LINUX Users Group involved, might make some
sense. Isn't that
kind of activity part of what we are supposed to be about?
Dennis
PS
I 'still' have not heard back from Josh as of 4.30PM PST 2/19/2007 and have
received an email and a phone
call from the group helping the kids, asking if I had the equipment ready
to pick up! The rep of RLUG
is also hanging here, because they were told that it was folks from RLUG
who were donating.....
