I would strongly object to this. Imho, for blind folks (as well as
folks using Rockbox while driving in a car), having static menus that
don't reorganise themselves (or at least are predictable) is much more
preferable and easier to navigate. It's also safer for the car driver who
doesn't need to pay so much attention either to talkbox or the screen; he
can work from memory. It also means that every time you grab someone
elses Rockboxed DAP to use for a moment, you don't have to spend time to
figure out where everything is.
I agree too - it sounds neat in theory, but in practice, having a constantly
changing menu soon becomes a pain in the backside. If you want to go that
route it makes more sense imo to dedicate a menu context button to send the
selected menu entry to a 'favourites' type menu off the root. That way
every user can easily copy (move?) their most used options there, and they
stay put.
