One goal of RaaA was to build a framework to make porting RaaA to new
platforms easy.

I have created http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/PortingApplication. I hope
this is helpful. I've written all my experience down to it, but it may
lack essential information that I cannot think of right now. But luckily
it's a wiki page that I (and everyone else) can extend where needed.
