Subject: [Rodopi] Rodopi support

My understanding is that the new Rodopi President or CEO came from a ILEC or CLEC background so I am guessing you will see prices increased over time. Although the upgrades and support were already crazy overpriced.

We acquired an ISP which was using a newer version than our rodopi so we
decided to see what it would take to combine their 1000 licenses with ours
and have our system running the newest version. We moved the data, we
mainly wanted the licenses in our account.

Merging systems takes a $500 "transfer fee", a current support agreement for
the remaining system and both systems at version 5.4.

The old system is horribly broken and taken offline long ago, why should I
need to have it upgraded to 5.4 when all I want is for them to move their
licenses from one account to another.

$500 seems a little pricey to click a few buttons, but when you control
those buttons you can set whatever price you want.
