Only thing I could recommend would be try other clients. I know Mushclient, kMud and MCL support it. If you're using the code available from randomly.org (I think that's the site), try adding some if (!compressionStart(d)) compressionEnd(d); to the checks in read_from_descriptor when it reads the IAC bits. Other than that, I'm at a loss man. Sorry. Jef
