Thank you for all your replies. I don't think the
mobprogs/areas file issue will be a problem, I am
using the stripped down version of quickmud Also I am
hand adding this patch including EVERYTHING that would
be installed with olc2.0 line by line from the patch,
which will include the first boot string which should
take care of the remaining area files. I have always
agreed 2.0 had its share of bugs, if microsoft would
have released it I would label it bloat-ware. However
there are some features i would like to have at my
disposal. As my mud is not live, and probably won't
be for a long time to come, doing the hand patch line
by line, comparing the current 1.81 install with the
2.0 and making the changes needed to make it 2.0 isn't
so bad. I just don't want to do all that work and it
not compile without a complete overhaul. Again thanks
for everyones input.
