This is how I would prefer to do it(first post by Josh, I'm new
to the list and am not certain this will be posted where I hope it will
be), but I didn't quite follow the part about copying the code of the
prog. If I'm correct, I would just create a new structure to hold this
copy of the code in. Code previous to the delay must be, or at least
should be, parsed out/changed so it will execute correctly when the
remainder of the code is executed.
Then, I would have to add something to trigger this new,
modified code when the delay time has expired (I don't have events).
Another question that stems from this conversation, is how would
you suggest setting the actual delay time, by using the mprog_delay
variable of the char_data structure? Or would do you suggest a new
variable? If the first option is used, I make the conclusion (though
I'm not 100% certain of it), that the regular type of delay trigger is
moot.
Thanks for your help.
