Rofl. No kiddin'. I don't really give a flyin' flip if it's a ROM deriv. ;-) Maybe it could mean more players! Though.. I'd certainly have to advertise it on MUDconnector as "highly rewritten customized ROM2.4b6"... just so I could compete. Maybe I could say it included such nifty features as color! ;-) Ok, I'll stop. Actually, I'd really like to say thanks... I got it figured out. It seems that debugging when drunk really ISN'T a good idea. ;-) But then... its taken me the better part of about 2 days to figure this one out. It was painfully simple. When I was deleting a player.. I never removed him from the game. So when someone logged in.. they got the same descriptor... as a player that had quit... but was no longer connected.. Well. It seems to be fixed.. though still in pre-alpha stage, nothing's really for certain! Thanks for the suggestion Dave... it really did set me on the right track.
