Or, you could set the heal hp/mana rates on the object by making it a
furniture item, then you can add a sit_by-type so players can sit around the
object to heal faster.

You could, for example put a check in the mana_heal/hp_heal function (un
named wrong i think, maybe heal_hp, or gain_hp? anywho its in update.c
somewhere (search for gsn_poison and it should be there) add a check in
there to see if the object exists in the room and multiply the healing rate
by X or so.
